Your symptoms are of hydrocele (Adolescent Varicocele) of the testicles, which show up as swelling or lump in the left testes .
A number of boys develop minor cases of Adolescent Varicocele early in their lives. Most of these disappear by themselves, but the more severe cases do not and need to be removed through a simple operation.
In adults, hydrocele is managed by draining the fluid under local anaesthetic using a syringe (tapping). This gives an instant cure.
If your testicle lump gets bigger or pain in your scrotum, you should make arrangements to see your doctor.
Most Varicocele conditions are not dangerous but malignant ones must be detected as quickly as possible to ensure effective treatment.

My doc told me this when I was 14. I recently had to see a urologist about a lump on my left testicle and when he was examining me he asked about the swollen lymph nodes. I told him what the doctor said and he left it at that. Ive never had any pain or trouble from them, but I would like to know if it is normal to have them swollen for this length of time.
