What could cause swollen lymph nodes in his chest along with shortness of breath and slight chest pain?

He has hypothyroidism that is controlled by meds, used to smoke, had ALL as a child. he is 33 years old. recently had nasal surgery. Slight chest pain recently, shortness of breath. swollen lymph nodes found in chest by Ct that are 1.5mm in diamiter. His blood pressure has been slightly e;evated 140's over 90's usually he is 120 or lower over 70's. Im just trying to find some possible diagnosis that could be related to this. We will be seeing a doctor at the end of the week of april 17th. thanks
