Dear Natalie,
With your combination of symptoms and the boating accident, I think you should get to the doctor really soon. Your instincts are telling you there's something wrong, so why listen to doctors who tell you that what you are experiencing is not real, that it's "nothing"? Get a second opinion. I don't think a swollen spine is typical. Please see a doctor ASAP. Thanks!
Natalie,
Wow, you have a lot of stuff going on. I am assuming that all of these symptoms started after the boating accident. If so, then it may be related. Not all injuries are apparent immediately after an accident.
I am not a doctor and I can't tell you what is wrong, but something is. Go see a doctor right away. I think there is something going on. Trust your instincts and see a doctor.

I've had weird pains in my chest and ribs and back for at least two years now, and the doctors said it was nothing. But, it has been getting gradually worse. i've been getting headaches, a lot. They just told me to take ib profin continuously, but it didn't do a single thing. now my spine is starting to hurt, and it would hurt whenever i burped, now the top several vertabres, or spine bones, are swollen and one single one hurts with pressure. I feel nateous, like i need to puke, at least once a day. I do believe something is wrong, and for some reason i think it will turn into a severe problem, although i'm calm and try not to worry about it too much.
-i did get in a boating accident, where i was intertubing at a private lake with my friend on the tube with me. there was a retaining wall made out of railroad ties, and as the driver was watching us, he didn't realize the wall turned in, so he swerved, and flying in at about 60 miles an hour,i was slammed into the wall and smashed by my friend. I'm surprised i didnt die, but they didn't find anything too wrong. i think this might be why, but it was bad and my whole body slammed into it.
