What causes constant pressure on the left side of the head and around the eye?

I have pressure on the left side of my head and it seems to effect my vision; also periodically there is some dizzyness as well. What could be causing this? I have taken some over the counter drugs for sinus. Although, there is some relief, the pressure does not completely go away.
