Hey Misty!  I've been wanting to do the stepping out w/ stanford thing so I'm glad to see someone else I know is doing it!  Tell me about it when you have time.  Write me on email though because you know we do not have internet access!  I love that pic of you btw!

Post Week 2's important numbers...

Ended with 75,000 steps over 7 days and...

Boosted my high number of steps in a day to 15,582 on Fri, 5/2/08

3 days of walk/jog intervals...

Stepping Out with Stanford class

What I've learned in 2 weeks with my Pedometer:

- a brisk 10 min walk will take over 1,000 steps 

- a 1 hour long walk will take 7,000+ steps

- my highest number of steps in 1 day is 15,432

- Pre-SOwS class: total steps 41,324 for 4 days of tracking

- Week 1 of SOwS class: total steps 42,741 for 7 days of tracking

My long-term goal is 100,000 steps in a week and short-term is averaging at least 10,000 steps per day.

Is there anyone else out there on campus taking this class?
