All approved MS medications are given by some type of injection. A co-worker/friend sent me an article about pills that are currently in the works to become available by the end of this year to the U.S. and Europe. Novartis, is a drug maker that's behind the pill called Fingolimod and a study, which included approx. 1000 patients fared well.
A German company named Merck KGaA has already applied for approval to release their own oral medication in Europe this month and plans to apply for approval for the U.S. in the near future.
If the oral medication is approved for the U.S., I hope one of them would be a good match for me because I would love to take the medication oral instead of the injections I'm currently taking!
