... and it's not good news. Three new lesions, one active. I pretty much knew I was having another flare because I've been having problems with my legs since Friday. Feet vibrating, tingling, muscles aching, knees hurting, right hand more numb than ever, left hand getting worse. Damn!
So starts Solu-Medrol infusions for 3 days, then Prednisone taper. They will call me today to let me know when I have to head to the infusion center at the hospital to start. Damn again!
He still wants me to continue on the copaxone although he thinks it isn't working, but wants me to keep going since it's only been "almost" 4 months, and it takes 6 months to get full effects. However, damn him cuz I love him, he is leaving the MS Center in April. So I see him at the end of February, and he will decide where to go then based on what's going on at that point. He mentioned Tysarbi and him told him no. Problem is due to severe depression (more on that in a minute), he doesn't want me to switch to interferons due to possible increased depression.
As far as the depression, I went to see my doc last week due to severe depression, and he started me on Pristiq. If that doesn't work, who knows where to go. Getting those results today certainly can't help.
