Acetaminophen overdose is one of the most common poisonings worldwide. People often think that acetaminophen, a pain-relieving medicine, is extremely safe. However, it may be deadly if taken in large doses.
If treatment is received within 8 hours of the overdose, there is a very good chance of recovery.
However, without rapid treatment, a very large overdose of acetaminophen can lead to liver failure and death in a few days
The best advice I, or anyone else can give is to seak treatment with a Pain specialist.
Pain specialists, or pain medicine doctors, are experts at diagnosing the cause of pain and then treating the pain. Anesthesiologists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons most frequently specialize in pain management. Some physiatrists also specialize in pain management. Here's more about these specialists:

I have the same problems you have plus a few others and I used to be un cinstist pain.My Dr pur me on Durigestic patches and Norco for break through pain. I take Norco which is same as Vicodine but insteand of 5/500 I take 10/325 and take it 4 times a day. Even my hubby is on it 2 times a day for having maajpr hearata surgery a coupale of months ago. THe Norco is 10 mg of codine and 325 of aamplacelion9sp0 but I can take up to 4000 mg of ampl a day counting the Norco which is 3 time stronger that you are taking. Also Soma and Xanxa will help with the calming of your nerves and Lexipro will help you sleep which is 1 of the main things you need for the fibro.I have had it for over 10 years now and this is the only way to help control it.The other 2 meds are for anixiety and that has a lot to do with fibro also. But the Norco helps for break thru paian when the patchs are on the day before I need them chaaaaaaaaaged/I am on 125mg of the Durgestic patch which is actually poppy pain likkers and is not for short turn pain.Iti s for cronic pain that you will live with the rest of your life. I am 61 and sometimes brforeI got on the right meds I wa in a wheel chain now I just uset a walker and do not even have to ust it all the time now. Go to your RA Dr and a Nurogest and get the blood work they have out now for the fibro and fins out how bas yours is.Thaat will help determind what kind of meds will help you. But as far as your Vicodon at 5/500 a day then if yiu can have a=enough to last you a month then if you are in real pain taking more tha 3 a day or even 3 at a time will not hurt you BUT BUILD YOURSelF UP TO THIs And not just take to start out with. You have to build your system up 1st.

I have low-thyroid, COPD, arhtritis, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Sclerosis. My nurse said I cannot have more than 75 tabs of hydrocodone 5-500 per each 4 weeks. Do you know if there are other people on higher does or is that the magic number for a limit?
I pain is usually between an 8 and a 10 at any given time. Ihave many other modalities I employ to try to manage my pain. It's gotten so bad, though, I'm considering taking more per ea 4 weeks. Thank you, Chris
