I'm suppose to give blood every three months so that my Neurologist can monitor my blood with me taking my medication, Rebif.
Every time I go, Lab Corp. says they don't have any paperwork on me. I have to call my Dr. office and have them refax it to them. I tried to go a couple of times this week and both times, they said they didn't have any paperwork on me.
The problem was by the time I would go to give blood, my Dr. office was closed for the day.
The first time I went, I called my Dr. office the next day. They told me they just sent them paperwork on June 5th,2009 and they should have had it on file. They refaxed it to them while I was on the phone with them, they also submitted it through the computer and told me that when I go back, if they try to tell me the samething, don't leave and have them call the Dr. office. I told them we did call, but the office was closed. They said OK, well it should be taken care of now. I went back this past Friday and they indicated again they didn't have any paperwork on me for blood work.
I got so frustrated and told them, I'm not coming back...I have an appt. next week and I wanted to get some blood work to them before my appt. but now, I don't care.
I told my husband about it and he said in the long run, I'm not hurting anyone but myself. He's right and I'll call my Dr.'s office once again on Monday, but this really doesn't make any sense to me!
