Symptoms

Posted Nov 10 2008 4:45pm
There are several symptoms for Multiple Sclerosis and everyone who's diagnosed with the disease doesn't necessarily deal with each symptom that's out there. Some people can experience the symptoms, but it doesn't mean they have multiple sclerosis as well.
The following are categories of symptoms: motor skills; coordination and balance; bowel, bladder and sexual; visual; and cognitive. I will elaborate on each of these areas in the future.
Personally, my very first symptom was my coordination and balance. I would see things in front of me, but I still walked right into it!
Other sypmtoms I've dealt with are: partial paralysis with my face (motor skills), blindness in one eye (visual) and speech impairment (cognitive).
Fortunately, every symptom I've experienced was corrected either by medication or with time (running its course).
