Some days it seems as if we will never build the house we've been talking about since we moved here, but I still like dreaming about it. Recently I was asked if I would consider using garage cabinets as kitchen cabinets. My first thought was no way, but then I looked at what they were talking about. The Diamond Plate Cabinets are nice. They won't rust and can be coated to any color you like.
I used to be a big fan of Trading Spaces. Probably would be still except we don't have cable now. I can totally see cabinets like these in one of their designs. Well, I guess they might not fit into the budget for that show, but you get the idea.
Back to the question though, would I use them in my kitchen? Probably not. We are planning an earth bermed home with a natural look. Metal cabinets don't really fit in. In another type home they may work well though.
