9 days have gone since I started weaning Isabel from breastfeeding .
It was a smooth process, since she was not really suckling for hunger (she was suckling for comfort). With some light ‘battle’ she is now on bottle.
So glad it is over now, but also sad that the ‘relationship’ is also over.
BTW, just checked this morning, though 9 days without stimulation, my breasts are still producing breast milk! Looks like it might take slightly longer to stop the production completely. Don’t quite understand how human body works. I vaguely remember the 1st time was also taking a couple of weeks for the body to completely stop producing. Maybe the body is worried if the situation was temperaly? LOL!
