I love to shop, but more importantly, I love to shop online. I always try to find the greatest deals and the best coupons before shopping. I always check out the clearance items on my favorite sites, such as Best Buy and Pet Smart. These days, it is much easier to shop from the comfort of your own home, especially when gas prices are at an all time high. I like to be able to search through my favorite stores, check out their products, without the hassle of going to the store and being in large crowds. The only time I enjoy going out for sales is during Black Friday, but now stores are posting their black friday sales online to make shopping easier for everyone. Since I am an expert at shopping online, I thought I would share my advice to you on how to become a better online shopper!
First off, you need to search for coupons, or promotion codes before going to any site. I get most of my coupons from Coupon Winner and Promotional Codes. Both of these websites usually have discounts on overall purchases and usally offer free shipping. Some examples of their offers include:
- Target is offering a coupon for $7 off when you spend $70
- Dell is offering $200 off laptops over $999
- PetSmart has a 15% off coupon.
Secondly, before you buy anything, make sure you can get free shipping. If I am shopping at a store and when I check out and notice that the shipping and handling price is over $10.00, I usually will not complete my purchase. I can use the $10.00+ in gas money to actually go to the store and try the clothes on. If I purchase something online, I want the shipping to be free. I actually believe that most online stores should offer free shipping, they would definitely receive more business from their consumers.
Thirdly, always check out the clearance before you buy anything. The clearance section at Target is awesome. Most of their products are reduced by 75% and are things you cannot find in the store. I never buy anything that I can purchase in a store, I feel like it is pointless. But, if I buy something that is not available in the stores, I feel like I am receiving a really awesome deal.
These are just my tips on how I shop online. The most crucial tip is to search online coupons and promotion codes. Saving money is the key to shopping online! I am a huge spender, but I am definitely a saver. I may be a shopaholic, but I definitely not how to save a few bucks and put money into my savings account.
