I was sick since Friday night, the eve of this country’s most shocking General Election since 1969 . Despite my chill and fever, and difficulties to juggle with the kids, I still did my part.
DH voted first, with his family, whilst I took are of the kids at home. Then he returned and fetched me to a different center to vote. My mom look after Isabel, Ian followed us. He was anxious about the election, the voting system, and kept asking a lot of questions.
We had to climb the stairs to 3rd floor, and Ian didn’t flinch at all. There was a police man guarding the entrance, otherwise I believe Ian would insist to follow me in. Police man can really scare him! LOL!
Anyway, my point is, with so much trouble, I could have just say: “Aiyah, my ONE vote wouldn’t make a difference, forget it!”
But I didn’t.
