I hate lawyer jokes, we are not all like that but then people go and do things like this guy. He has been accused on two counts of driving drunk, one of eavesdropping/secretly making audiovisual recordings of sexual activity with women and one of Overreaching the attorney-client relationship. Remember he is innocent until proven guilty and the charges have just been filed but if the ARDC (Attorney Regulatory and Disciplinary Committee)and the Illinois Supreme Court (the appellate authority in this instance) find he is guilty, he could lose his law license or just be slapped on the wrist. The problem is this is public now and I know where he practices, it is a small county where this could be not so good for business. Oh yeah and the ARDC does not file charges lightly, they must have some pretty good proof, I know that it can sometimes take years for them to fully investigate. Sorry to digress from adoption things but this was crazy and another reason I am not sure I want to be an attorney…
