I ? minerals

Posted Nov 06 2008 2:34pm

So FINALLY after - how long have they been the thing in cosmetics? - I caved.  Was it one too many infomercial?  I think so.  That circular motion on the cheek, that large bushy brush, that light dust of powder, that flawless finish.  LOL  So I caved.  I bought mineral foundation.

I.LOVE.IT

I think, since I had flawless skin as a teenager, that it is my karma to have bad skin as an adult.  By bad, I mean like boil-size blemishes around the nose.  Yeah.  Pleasant.  If my doctor can cure this, I’ll be indebted to him forever.  Not literally.

So, mineral makeup to the rescue.  It can cover up anything on tv, and since we all know that if it is on TV than it must be true, it can cover up my imperfections.

And it does. Albeit “flawless” might be pushing it.  I’m so happy, I had to share.  (I’m tossing the tinted moisturizer, cream foundations, cream-to-powder foundation, translucent powder, concealer, and blemish corrector) in favor of my mineral foundation, that I bought at WAL-MART.

I’m beautiful again.  For $16.37.

Thats Canadian dollars though.

:D
