Now, Isabel has a new best friend, Ian also has one. Remember I wrote about hisdevoted love and faith for his smelly bolster? Now, it is the time that ’someone’ step in their way!
Come meet Tortoise, Ian’s new best friend.

Well, originally, as of last Thursday, this Tortoise’s name remained “Tortoise”. He had not insisted to give it a name. It was me who prompted him to name it. Thursday night he insisted that I greet ‘good night’ to Tortoise, which I found it awkward and wouldn’t comply. He was so upset. So, I asked if the Tortoise has a name. Surprisingly, he told me immediately without having to think hard,“Yes! My tortoise’s name isBABUN!”
Hmm… why this name sounds so familiar? Could it be a name of a cartoon character? Is it from the Lion King? I don’t have a copy, so can’t be sure.
Anyway, the next day morning, he forgot the name he gave, and asked me whether the tortoise’s name is “BAMBU”. LOL! And he kept forgetting the ‘original name’ and kept thinking it is “BAMBU”. This morning he told me, “His full name is actually Bambu Dartster”. Wah, has family name some more!
Anyway, the name keeps changing between Babun Diddle and Bambu Dartster. So funny.
Ian now has 2 best friends, which he loves equally - the smelly bolster AND Bambu! He told me,he is 4 years old, Bambu is 3 years old, and the smelly bolster is 2 years old. In his mind, smelly bolster is the ‘little brother’, and Bambu is the ‘big brother’. I asked him, how can the bolster be 2 years old when he already own it for 4 years? He just laughed! LOL!
