2 weeks ago, I taught Ian to memorize my cellphone number. Children have incredible memories. After reciting once, he is able to remember.
Monday evening (2 days ago), I asked him to try calling me from FIL’s cellphone. With some guides, he was able to call me, and he kept playing with the phone until I was irritated.
Yesterday when I was attending a dinner function, suddenly he called my cellphone, without FIL knowing!
My colleague was amazed by his ability to call me at his age now. I thought it is pretty easy and normal? I thought I was slow in teaching him this already. Am I? Hmm…
Anyway, as I started teaching him my phone number, I find it hard to make him learn DH’s number, coz he got the two numbers jumbled up. To avoid confusion, I asked him to stick to my number only, for the time being.
