Last Thursday evening, our supplier invited us to Eest Restaurant, Westin Hotel, for CNY dinner. This was my very first visit to Eest.
The traffic was terrible, as it was close to CNY and Friday was a public holiday in KL. A short journey, which normally take less than 30 min even with congestions, became 2 hours.
Dinner supposed to start at 7pm, ended up started at 9pm. I reached there at 8:15pm. I really felt so bad, and in fact if the traffic was movable to other directions I would have probably turned away and went home! I wasn’t the last to arrive. We all left the office 5 to 10 minutes apart, and we arrived an hour apart. Terrible traffic.
Anyway, this was my very first yee sang (raw fish/ sashimi mixed with crispies) this year. One very interesting part to share about this yee sang is the use of long chopsticks in this restaurants.
