Tonight as we sat down to have dinner, the phone rang and I was quite suprised to hear it was Violet's Neurologist.
He received her Seizure Med level results and he rang to ask me to increase her dose as he feels it isn't high enough. In saying that, he has decided to lower her morning dose and increase her nightime dose so she hopefully won't become too drowsy from this increase.
She has been very tired lately. She wakes at 7am and on the way home from dropping Emily off to school she is now often asleep on the way home at 8.50am. She also has been very keen to have alot more extra cuddles on the lounge and also falls asleep doing this...very unlike Violet to be sooo tired, so if the lower dose in the morning doesn't do the trick to stop her drowsiness then he wants to swap her to another seizure med like Eplim, as I have heard Tegretol can do this to children.
