I must find and secure 6 pairs of shoes any time we leave the house, not to mention a pair for my feet…
But, why is it that we can never find the right shoes, especially when we’re in a hurry?
We can find one shoe, but not the other. The shoes that don’t fit, but never the ones that do. The shoes that tie, only when we’re late and need the ones that slip on. Boots when we need flip-flops. Sandals when we need tennis shoes.
Shoes.
They are like the mysterious socks that lose their mates in the dryer, never to be found again.
Perhaps feet were meant to be bare…
