10 days after I started weaning Isabel on breastfeeding , I then dare to tease her by asking her to breastfeed.
Guess what? She laughed and turned away, at the same time saying “ Don’t Want ” loudly!
When offered a few more times, she got panic and ran away.
Hmm… I feel a kind of emptiness, though at the same time I was happy with the ease of weaning and the success/relief of it.
I guess only a breastfeeding mom who has gone through the weaning process would understand the empty feeling.
Isabel is a big girl now. She is officially graduated from breastmilk.
