Patrickhas dragged himself from his sick bed to post theSaturday Sixand since he is so dedicated even in his physical suffering, I am compelled to participate before the day is done…..awww, who am I kidding, I love pat’s Saturday Sixers! Patrick I swear you didn’t catch that crud from me even if it is going around the Big Top too. feel better friend!

1. What is your most successful “home remedy” and how did you first hear about or discover it?
hmmmm….the only home remedy that I have tried that worked, well, it won’t cure what you have, Pat. It did bring on the arrival of one of my girls 4 weeks earlier than planned and after that, well, my OB told me no more last chance romantic getaways in the latter weeks of subsequent pregnancies. How did I hear about it? I’m a professional and I know how well those prostaglandins work.
2. Do you ever use substitutes for food ingredients, like sugar or salt substitutes? If so, which do you use?
no, not really. I mean I do drink diet coke at work and that does have an artificial sweetener but otherwise I don’t do substitutes. I did make a conscious choice years ago to eliminate unnecessary salt and sugar in my diet and cooking. I now mostly salt and sweeten my foods to taste. I didn’t realize how excessively it was used in my household hen I was a kid until I got together with my brother and watched him dump salt all over his dinner and dump even more sugar in his iced tea without tasting either. He reminded me that this was what we always did with our meals when I commented on this.
3. How often do you go to a mall or shopping center just to window shop, with no intention of actually buying anything?
LOL, all the time if I could. Seriously, sometimes I will go to the mall and just walk around to clear my head. people watching and window shopping seems to clear the cobwebs and the stress from my mind.
4. How often in those trips do you actually end up buying something anyway?
It all depends on what thoughts I am trying to clear out and how much money is in the bank!
5. Takethis quiz(if you haven’t already!): What is your biggest social dysfunction?
well first of all….these questions suck….too many of them I would have chosen both, but I can’t!
having said that, I tested as normal….now that’s a first!
6. What possession would you most like to have by the end of 2006 that you did without in 2005?
new bedroom furniture except for our fabulous bed….the crap we have now we bought at Target over ten years ago and it is falling apart in spite of the duct tape.
