Whoa, thank you for all the swee ...

Whoa, thank you for all the sweet comments! It was nice to be able to sit and keep my dad company and check my email while he dozed. He is FINE and resting very comfortably so muchos gracias, amigas. Oh, and for those of you who asked, I LOVE my iPhone. LOVE it. I am sure I don't use all of its features - I basically use the phone, some texting, the browser, the camera and the email functions. Oh, and Mr. P uses the map function when we're out and about and he likes it so much he might get himself an iPhone. If you're in the market for a new cell, this girl's opinion is to go with the iPhone. I'm not sorry I did.

In other news, I'm still deaf in one ear but feeling nearly 100% better all around. Despite how cold it's been, I've been cracking the windows daily to try and get some fresh air in our house. I feel bad for all the folks who have been through the house over the past few weeks - I am sure anyone who's been through has picked up some sort of plague but hey. I've got a house to sell so them's the breaks. We've had a number of offers so far, but all kind of low. Too low. We're having another open house on Sunday afternoon and we'll see what happens after that. Hopefully something, because we signed the P & S on our new house yesterday and we are well on our way to dual home ownership. Fuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I'm still quite optimistic and so is our realtor so I'm leaving it at that. For now.

Charlotte has speech therapy all afternoon which means that I will be stuck in the house all afternoon and therefore cannot go out to pick up a. baby wipes and b. laundry detergent, both of which are sorely needed in this household. I am not sure how I can be in the grocery store and/or Target on an almost daily basis and still fail to purchase the most basic of household needs.

I am pretty good at picking up "essentials" such as nice smelling counter spray and cheap yet springy cable knit sweaters, though.

Lastly, and most randomly, have you seen Rihanna's new haircut? I mean her NEW new haircut? I am very very very seriously considering going back to the salon and getting it done. And by very very seriously I mean I am on the verge of picking up the phone and calling. However. Since we're moving, I'm seeking a new hairstylist. I'd love to find someone really fabulous to do this cut because honestly it's a bit daring. I have short hair (which grows unreasonably fast) but have wanted to go super super short for well over two years now - and it may very well be time.

Any of you Mass girls (and by Mass I mean Boston and the western burbs) got a really great hairstylist to recommend?
