Patsi Krakoff, Psy.D., is co-founder of Mind-FX Science, Inc., and author of www.Brain-FX.com. A former psychologist from San Diego, California, she founded Mind-FX with her husband Robert in 2001 to provide healthy natural supplements for the brain for athletes and gamers. As author of the blog Brain-FX.com, she strives to provide the latest information about keeping your brain healthy, at all ages for all aspects of life and work, and particularly for sports. "We've always been interested in the important role the mind plays. In our more 'competitive' playing days, we witnessed some superbly trained athletes wither under the pressure of athletic performance. We speculated how neurologically wired we are as individuals. The mind makes all the difference between average players and winners. This is why we founded Mind-FX and the blog Brain-FX: how to keep brains healthy for a long time." She and her husband Robert are avid tennis players competing at their local club with USTA. They live in San Diego and Ajijic, Mexico.
