And they say tomorrow never comes...

Posted Jul 21 2008 10:19am

Yesterday we were waiting for tomorrow--thank goodness it came--because it was a much better day! Par has been eating--we've been adding in some "meatier" snacks with his medicines on multiple occasions--sort of like little "treats" throughout the day. He seems a little bewildered because they don't all taste like medicine (which is what he is expecting). He isn't taking a bottle at all--it is just not interested--so I am just doing more frequent little vials of hindmilk with a nipple on the end (this is how he gets his medicine). He's been nursing great and had a long nap on his Boo this afternoon. I weighed him numerous times (of course) and right now he weighs 7 lbs. 13.4 oz--so I think we are getting somewhere!!!

We went on a leisurely stroll this afternoon--Par just stared at the trees and me the entire time. I think the fresh air is good for him--and the temperature was perfect! Too bad it is supposed to rain tomorrow.

We went to visit my dad and brother's new office downtown tonight and Par got to go. As soon as we got to their floor--Par wiggled out of my hands and ran down the hall. When we found him, he was sitting in his Uncle Joe's chair imitating him. Par does a great imitation of his Uncle Joe when he doesn't get his way.

We are so thankful for our little boy's weight gain--Praise God for each little ounce!!! We continue to pray for Par's friends--we thank you for your prayers for them as well.

May God bless you...
