In trying to do a good thing I rescued two bitches that were likely dumped who were very likely to get hit as they were at a bad blind curve in the road where I found and collected them. Trouble is, one is in heat (the other looks to have already whelped) and I have 2 intact males. I had a separate place to put them but last night a gate's swing latch was defeated and one male and her's twain met. (Probably just the once, which I interrupted.) I'm on a budget and wasn't going to spay either but let an adopter get a voucher upon adoption through a local rescue program I will eventually post them on. I'd like to still spend my few bucks neutering my permanent pet males. So, are we irrevocably puppy-bound here?
