Welp, went to my PCP (primary care physician) and he filled out the paperwork to go about getting me an electric wheelchair. Although insurance is cranky and saying (literally) "We already approved her for one wheelchair", but the medical supplier said that the bureaucracy is all in order and I more than qualify so they shouldn't have a problem. And I sat in the electric wheelchair they thought would be best for me, and it's really comfy and the leg rest go straight down. While elevating my legs is great, I rarely even have the legs on my current wheelchair because they make it hard if not impossible to get through doctors offices and such. So at least I can keep the leg rests on this one. Hopefully, baring my bad luck, I'll have my electric wheelchair next week or so.
I also had my PCP look at the lumps on my fingers. He doesn't think its anything to worry about. He said it could be a "burst" tendon that knotted up, the soft tissues calcified from repeat damage/irritation, or its where the bones were damaged and started developing arthritis.
