101 in 1001: 2 Month Update

76. Make Skittles infused Vodka.

2. Lose 80 pounds.
Yeah. Made no attempt at this at all. Gained about 5 pounds back from last month and now have 75 pounds left to lose.

3. Go to the gym at least 3 times a week.
This didn't happen either. My sneakers make my feet hurt if I do anything other than the bike. I can't bother making the drive if I'm only going to sit and read a book on a bike. As soon as I get some cash, I'm getting some new sneakers and am going to have to make up these missed days.

10. Get dental work done.
Got an exam and some x-rays. 8 years of not seeing a dentist and 2 pregnancies that caused acid to eat through my teeth have resulted in 6 teeth that have cavities. Gross. This goal should be completed by November.

11. Complete 200 Sit Up Challenge.
So very close to finishing this goal. A week or two more, I think. See my progress here.

16. Read 50 books I already own.
I read another 8 books, bringing the total to 14 books cleaned off the bookshelves. See my September mini book reviews here.

17. Read all 100 books on the BBC book list.
I didn't finish any books from this list this month. I have been reading one, but it's long so I just couldn't finish it in time.

45. Take a self portrait everyday for a year to get over my hatred of having my picture taken. Post pictures to the 365 Project.
Missed one day this month. Going to tack it on to the end of the 365 days. The pictures are slightly better, reflecting my new found ability to make my way to the shower at least 3 times a week.

47. Compile a cookbook of my favorite recipes.
I've finished this as far as I can for the time being. I've typed up all the recipes in the cookbooks I was getting rid of. I still have to finish with the larger cookbooks but don't see any reason to start until I've tried all the recipes I have marked in each one.

48. Make a bucket list.
I've been working on this in my head. Somehow I always forget the things I wanted to add once I go to write them down.

86. Try 20 new (to me) restaurants.

95. Watch one movie that was released for each year from 1940-2009 that I haven't seen.
