after having a 10day break while taking dianette can i take it straight away or do i need to wait untill my next period

i have been on dianette for 3 months while taking 7day breaks in between however after my last 7days i did not start my next pack and the gap has now reached to 10days. will i have protection as soon as i begin it or do i need to wait until my next period to begin it again
