am i pregnant?

I haven't had sex in almost two months & I've had two periods. But the second one came almost two weeks early. Soo now, it is a litte over two weeks before my next period is due && I've had brown to light pink spotting, which is very light.& Ive been using the bathroom frequently. I took a pregnancy test and it said negative, but somebody said that birth control can make the results inaccurate. Is that true? and is it possible im pregnant?
