Can I get pregnant?

Posted by jcdm05

It will be a year in november since ive had  a period. Is it possible for me to get pregnant. My periods have always been very irregular but this is the longest I have went without one. I went to the doctor to see why I wasnt having a period and I was told my tests looked fine and they gave me a pill to take daily for 10 days to make me have a period. Ive done that twice already. After the period from the pills it stops again. Does anyone know whats wrong? My husband and I would really love to have a baby, is there any hope?

The period from the pills resets your cycle so since last november you've had a total of two cycles since then, right?

How long has it been since the first day of your last bleed?

Have they tested your FSH, Estrogen, and progesterone number anytime in the last 11 months or so?

It seems as though you are not ovulating (annovulatory) or more generally suffering from amenorrhea (no periods).  They should do a full fertility work up to determine exactly what the problem is and what is the best way to go forward in your family planning
