Mirena IUD

I have had my Mirena placed since 2007. Before my first pregnancy I was an avarage weight for my height. Then I had my child and had Mirena placed a month after delivary and now I too heavy. I am 5ft 1in and 150lbs.(I don't eat too poorly and even if I work out, I can't seem to loose the pounds.)
My husband and I are going to try to have another child soon, but I am worried about my weight. I looked on the Mirena site and it said only 5-10% of women gain weight. Will I loose the pounds after I take it out??? I have also been suffering with horrible head aches. dizziness and nausia...why is this happening?
