sucks. I only can know this, having never had it myself, because throwing up sucks. Period.
Jenna felt consistently not great, and was sick a bunch, during the first trimester. Cheers went up when we passed into the second trimester, the supposed 'honeymoon' of pregnancy. She felt good, all was going well, breakfast was staying down...but that didn't last too long. Today is not a good day for my poor sis - nothing like throwing up at your office, and having to carry bags in your car. Yikes.
I feel guilty when she's sick. I can't help it. Luckily it's been a lot more sporadic and we're hoping that the next few weeks will mean a total end to the sickness. She continuously tells me "it's ok, I'm ok" but I still wish I could open her uterus up and have a chat with our kid. This morning I told her to hold the phone to her belly so I could tell the baby to quit it - all we got in response was a stomach gurgle.
Please send good vibes her way - every little bit helps!
She deserves a medal...
