Everything went GREAT yesterday! As I was leaving I kept trying to give Addie little goodbye kisses and she wanted nothing to do with me : ) She was busy pushing her little car toy walker and was like, "Yeah, Yeah mommy...just get out of my way!" So off I went, kiss-less, but knowing she was a-ok.
Work was really good and I found it wasn't as hard as I thought to just get right back into things. And I found that I could put Addie out of my mind and concentrate on work, which was something I was worried about. But of course I totally trust my friend, Ange, who is watching her for us in the mornings, so that helps. Apparently the two of them had a great time, Addie had a nice 1.5 hour nap, and all went well. Thanks again Ange - you're the best!
Addie and I had a nice afternoon, taking Quincy for a walk and then going for our afternoon run. I do feel a little scattered at the moment, as life is busy in our house right now. Getting Addie ready to be looked after by someone else, getting myself ready for work, working, and my in-laws are here visiting from Victoria, BC...busy household! It's a good busy though, and I'm finding that being organized is helping me stay sane : )
On to day #2...
