I was tagged a few days ago by Nikole over at Babylust. I thought about it, couldn't come up with anything interesting and or weird about myself to write about. I'm just going wing it here.
1. I'm not a neat person, but I'm completely obsessive over bookcases. All the books have to be right side up and in some sort of alphabetical order be it by author name or title. The husband uses this obsession to screw with me. Early in our relationship he used to move a few books and watch me freak out knowing something was off, but not being able to figure out what. Then he stepped to an all new level and started telling me books were moved but not actually moving them. I would freak out and sort through some 200 books, only to find out they were all where I left them.
2. I'm very picky about what I drink. I won't drink anything warm that's supposed to be cold. I won't put ice in anything because it will melt before I'm done and I won't drink anything watered down. So I'll only drink something straight out of the fridge. But if I pour myself a glass of something and I haven't finished it in a half hour or so, I won't drink it at all and have to get more because it sat out and it's warm now. The husband thinks this is weird and just drinks all the half finished drinks I leave around the house.
3. I'm one of those people who has to watch or read something to the very end, no matter how bad the movie, show or book is. I worry that it will get better farther along and I'll miss the good part. Having finished all the books, movies and shows I have started, I can honestly say every one that started bad, ended bad, but I still finish every new one just in case.
4. I'm terrified of bees. I know this is kind of normal, but at 26 years old, I still run away screaming while flailing my arms. I have never been stung and I imagine it can't hurt all that bad, but I still flee. My daughter, now almost 6, has seen me do it hundreds of times and now does it too. Seeing it from the other side, it does seem silly and kind of annoying to those who have to listen to the screaming, but still I can't help it. A few years ago a bee landed on me and I was paralyzed with fear, crying hysterically until my daughter got my dad to get the bee off me. I was stuck there for a good 20 minutes while my family laughed at me.
5. At last count I have watched 1,391 movies. That seems like a lot. You can see a list of them at Listal.
6. I've played the Sims since it first came out. I recently acquired the Sims2 and was at a loss for characters. I used my phone book out of my cell phone to create them and now whenever one of my friends dies in the game, I can't help but feel bad.
I'm supposed to tag 6 more people but from the looks of things most of the blogs I read have already been tagged. If you have read this and haven't done it yet, you're tagged. After you do it, leave me a comment and I'll link to you here.
