Wednesday - Spanish Noodles 'n' Ground Beef
This was a lot like Hamburger Helper, complete with noodles cooked in sauce. Noodles cooked in sauce tend to be a little more chewy than I like. Jocelyn didn't mind, but the adults kind of did.
Thursday - Jerk Pork Portobello Stack
This was a huge meal, so we fed my parents as well. My mother called it "superb." My mother calls nothing superb, so you know it was good. It was a lot of steps and a lot of spices. A bit zesty. Utterly fantastic. Found in

Friday - Prepare for Weird Beer Party, order cheesesteaks
Saturday - Weird Beer Party
Sunday - Recover from Weird Beer Party, order cheesesteaks
Monday - Scallion and Mushroom Soup and Mary Ann's Spinach and Mushroom Dip
The soup was okay. Another blended soup, but this time with raw sliced mushroom thrown in at end of cooking. The raw mushrooms didn't cook in the soup (I don't think they were supposed to) and gave the soup a strange taste. The dip was awesome. I have a really good Spinach and Artichoke dip recipe that I always use, but this surpasses it by far. Found in

Tuesday - Country Split Pea Soup with Bacon and Potatoes
This would have been good except for two small details. The recipe called for 8 carrots, which is a lot and turned the soup orange. I also had to cook the potato separately and then add it at the end. Yeah, I undercooked the potatoes. So, not great.
