Hi Robb, thanks for picking me up as a friend. I live in Metairie and I work out at the Fitness Connection behind Clearview Mall. I started personal training on a one year program and now I'm finish and trying to continue on my own. I also like to Spin and I'm getting certified to teach this upcomming weekend. I'm very excitied and a little nervous too.

I have lost at the gym in the last year 50 pounds but since I've stop with my personal trainer I have put on about 5 or 6. I'm working hard and thought by talking to others with similar goal that it would help.

I don't know anything really about martial arts except what i've seen on tv. I had been looking for information in this area about kickboxing. I hear that it is a great cardio workout and was looking for a class. Do you know of any? I'm at work, so I'll catch you later. Amanda

1 pound and 4 inches is great, keep it up. If I remember correctly, you have to burn around 3500 calories to lose 1 pound of fat, so over 1 week, that's 500 less calories a day to result in 1 pound of fat loss. If you think about it, cutting back on 500 calories a day isn't that bad.
