Tuesday 4 mile crappy run

Having a tough day. Dr. put me on new sleep medication. Let's say it had the opposite effect. I was really in the dumper. I made it through work and had a 4 mile run schedule. Every fiber in my body told me to skip it. I had to pick up my son at Karate and I didn't want to stay a work until 7:00 p.m. so I decided to run. It was only four miles but it was very hard to do. I did 20 miles Friday through Sunday and felt great. Swimming on Monday felt good besides forgetting my goggles and losing one contact. During the run I was just sweating and my legs felt like lead. I got through it but felt sick afterwards. Luckily I got out of there and was able to see the last 15 mins of my sons Karate Class. It was really good for me to see him do his forms and see how much he has grown in the sport. I realized that I got lost in him instead of work and other issues. It was a good break. I didn't take the new meds I had a better night sleep but still weird dreams, still work stress invading my sleep. I hope today is better and my 3 mile lunch run goes better. Breathe.
