Conversations With My Non-Surgical Cosmetic Aesthetologist

Posted Jun 13 2009 12:05am

BBB: Ravi, what do you make of the Safetox Machine do you think it can actually work?

RAVI: Ok, well Id never heard of it until we spoke but after checking the website, Im very sceptical.

BBB: But you are a sceptical person. That’s not always good.

RAVI: Is this a character assassination? I am good at waterskiing. If you look at the sites statistics, it gives a very, very wide range of success 11%-65%. That would be an unacceptable range in my book.

BBB: You arent just being gloomy?

RAVI: I am not prone to gloom. But, it looks like at best, 3 in 10 people won’t notice a difference and at worst 9 in 10 people won’t notice a difference. I don’t think spending 200 on those odds is worth it. In their slight defence, I do think that people dont stick to the routine needed with home devices.

BBB: I absolutely disagree. I am religious about switching on my TV at 6pm.

RAVI: I mean beauty devices. People often just cant be bothered to stick to the routine.

BBB: Actually, you are right. Sometimes I put it on at 5pm. I suppose you are going to say thats why people have Botox and Fillers. Low maintenance, minimum effort and maximum results?

RAVI: Exactly.

BBB: By the way, I can snowboard.
