Review: Honeycat Cosmetics Sweet Potato Pie Bubble Bath

Posted Nov 03 2008 9:11pm

I’m hoping to review as many holiday-inspired products as I can over these next two months. The economy has got me down in the dumps and the only thing that can turn it around are the Holidays. I am a huge fan of fall, not to mention Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. And no matter which holidays you celebrate, you can’t deny that this time of the year is always the most joyous. So I kick off the first holiday-inspired review with Honeycat Cosmetics Sweet Potato Pie Bubble Bath.

I have the 8oz version of this bubble bath, which comes in a cute mini-milk jug-like container. The bubble bath is ultra thick with lots of bubbles and even works great as a shower gel. The scent is a combination of starchy & sweet and the off-orange color psychologically prompts your imagination to conjure up delicious sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar in your mind. However, the scent is very light and not at all overpowering, so you won’t feel like you are sitting down to dinner.  The scent also does not remain on your skin once you leave your bathtub. The aloe and shea butter could give the inclination of making your skin feel like butter…buttery soft of course.
