Why Do Patients Want A Plastic Surgeon For Their Skin Cancer Surgery? Because I help minimize deformity. That's one of the things plastic surgeons do. Looking at the image here, I helped not only make it look better, but reduce loss of function of the hand by reducing tissue loss.
