sore cracked burning flaking bottom lip

Hi I have had a sore bottom lip constantly for about 6 months now. I have tried a lot of lip preparations with no avail. vaseline soothes it but at the moment i have a very sore split on it. any help would be appreciated thankyou.

More than likely you have a condition called Angular Cheilitis.  It is an embarrassing and sometimes painful condition, where the corners of the mouth and the lips become dry and crack.  If not treated properly it will continue to come back.  The site Angular Cheilitis Cure explains in detail what causes it and how you can cure it at home with ingredients you probably have in your kitchen.
