10 easy lifestyle treatments for night sweats

When thinking of night sweats treatment, the first thing considered is the cause of night sweats. If your night sweats is because of a specific disease, the best remedy is to treat that disease. If your disease is not treatable like HIV infection, the only thing you can do is to follow the night sweats treatment tips below to reduce night sweats, but you can't treat it. If a benign condition makes you sweat at night, follow the tips below to get rid of your night sweats.

1) Take a cold shower before bed
2) Sleep in a cool room: Leave the window open or use a fan
3) Wear fresh nightwear
4) Don't use many covers and blankets
5) Have a cold drink such as water or fruit juice before bed
6) Avoid anger, and keep yourself relaxed
7) Learn about the side effects of medications you are taking
8) Avoid alcohol and drugs specially marijuana and tobacco
9) Avoid hot tubes and saunas
10) Don't do intense exercise before bed

In addition to the tips above, there are some foods that reduce or eliminate night sweats, and some other foods that you should avoid to prevent or treat night sweats.
