Swimming is one of the best types of activities you can add to your exercise regimen. It not only challenges your aerobic capacity, but it is non-weight bearing and therefore is great for your lower body joints. I strongly suggest for everyone to include a swim workout in their routine at least once every 2 weeks.

I imagine you mean swimming laps? Or do most movements in the pool (arms and legs kicking to keep yourself afloat while not exactly swimming, or even water jogging) provide as good a workout?
