Sorry I've been MIA, homework was a little overwhelming this week but I managed to get it all done and tonight I have no homework! Yay! Yesterday wasn't really an interesting day for food anyways. Since I made that Pumpkin toast spread a couple days ago, I had a lot of it left over...so I made Pumpkin Oatmeal! I used 1/4 cup oat bran, 1/4 cup oats, 1/2 soymilk, 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 1/4 cup goji berries, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and allspice. I also added a little bit of Stevia just to sweeten it up. This was delicious! I love the pumpkin flavor with the oats and the goji berries added a little sweet bite to it. After school I had some beans on a pita and then I caved...I had some ice cream! I know I'm supposed to be reducing sugar but I've been doing it for a week and needed a reward. It was only like 5 bites anyway but it was so yummy! The brand was WholeSoy &Co Cream Caramel. Drool...this is my new favorite flavor! I think I'm done restricting my sugar, I don't want to deny myself agave nectar or sweet breakfast foods but I think I am going to reduce the amount I eat. More fresh veggies and fruit are better for me anyway =)Speaking of sweet breakfast foods...tomorrow is Saturday!!
