Asian Gourmet Rice Crisps

Posted Aug 25 2008 3:43pm

Asian Gourmet Rice Crisps I found these a few weeks ago at my local grocery store and I’ve been meaning to post them ever since. They were in the Asian food section by the soy sauce. It was quite a surprise as I’ve been down that aisle many times and I never noticed them before. So I checked out the nutritional information and I was pleased to find that 4 crisps are only 120 calories.

I guess I now need to tell you whether or not I liked them. Well, that’s a good question. I think I would like them if they weren’t the sweet and salty flavor. I’m not sure I’m a fan of the sweet and salty in the same bite. It’s like my taste buds get confused.

That being said, I like the light airy crunch and I LOVE the fact that they are only 30 calories a piece. Just prefect when you need a crunchy snack or something quick before dinner’s ready. But unless there is another flavor I can find, I don’t think I’ll be buying them again.

Has anyone else seen, heard or tried of them before?

Sorry I can’t find the company’s web site anywhere and they aren’t on Amazon so no link for this find. :~(
