Whether you take Acai berry or not depends on how willing you are to be a human guinea pig. No one knows much about this product in general and even less of course about its possible interaction with other medications such as effexor. So there is a risk. My question to you is why take it? If you needed it to deal with some critical health issue, then of course you would take the risk. But until such time as the people who promote this product give to your a comprehensive study of drug intereractions with acai berry, it would be prudent to avoid it.
