I just
MAY have found the type of work out place I have been looking for. Provides combination classes – and not a single machine! Pole fitness, sensual fitness, and Zumba. Three activities – three different nights…and in time frames that would likely work for me! These are classes that I think I would actually enjoy doing!
I have to go to the city on Wednesday night, so I will stop by this studio to see what it is all about.
I have also put a call in to a dance instructor that teaches belly dancing! I would probably be sore, sore,
sore after a lesson of belly dancing, but heaven knows my belly (and abs) could certainly benefit from that type of work out. So, that may be something else that I will be able to add to my bag of tricks.
A couple friends of mine have started a running club. They both say that they are enjoying it. I just cannot see myself doing that. I like to ride my bike, I like to swim…but I have never really been one to go out and do much that will actually make me sweat. Well, dancing doesn’t count – so that is what I think I need to focus on. It’s not ‘work’ if it’s fun, right?
Now, I can’t quite see myself actually DOING a pole dance – (that is the furthest thought from my mind!) - but I am sure that it would be a lot of fun. Well, once I get myself out of my shy-shell that tends to show up when I am going in to a new situation. I’m sure that will wear off in the first half of the class, and then watch out! (
No one ever believes me when I say that I feel very shy going in to a new situation …)
Hubby and I have another appointment with the nutritionist on Saturday, and I want to be able to answer her truthfully. “Yes, I have been doing my exercise.” That isn’t the case for the last little bit. If I answered that way right now I would be lying, and my nose would grow out the side of her office. I even got up EARLY this morning to spend some time on the treadmill. Yeah, I did laundry instead.
I think I have a block of some sort when it comes to exercise. I have GOT to get over it. HAVE TO, HAVE To,
HAVE TO.
