Went back to the gym at 5am again. There were a lot fewer people there. What is it with people who go to the gym? Everybody and their brother is there on Monday. Every passing day more and more drop off. Friday the place is a ghost town.
Anyway, on to the run.
I ran another 25 minutes. I won’t lie and say it was easy but I’ve had a lot worse runs. For the last few minutes I was breathing pretty heavy but it wasn’t that bad. The main issue was fighting the tiredness in my legs. That’s not exactly fun but it’s manageable.
I feel pretty positive about this run but I was pushed to the limit. I don’t think 26 minutes would have been possible.
Update: I’m almost ready to ditch the Couch to 5K podcast now that it’s all running and no walking. I listened to my own music today. I like running this way a lot better. We’ll see how I feel in two days.
